Buster climbs up the teeter-totter ladder built on the Brunton (United) Studio backlot on Melrose Ave, standing yards north of the studio plunge where Buster filmed the waterfall rescue in Our Hospitality.

A different cop signals for help by banging his billy club on the ground, looking west down Market Street from the corner of Alameda toward San Pedro, half a block south of Ducommun. This wooden corner structure was part of the Globe A-1 flour mill visible during scenes 02:03 – 05:53.
It’s complicated, as Market Street and this intersection no longer exist, and the wooden corner structure does not appear in the aerial photo. The arrows mark the route of Market from Alameda, the same two story building on San Pedro highlighted in yellow, the same brick building along Market highlighted in blue, and the open rail spur where the cop stood at 16:01 above highlighted in orange. This lost corner appears in other vintage aerial photos and maps, but all is now built over. Near Ducommun

Airborne Buster knocks over Big Joe at the Brunton (United) Studio. Hollywood
The studio had a “Y” shaped urban street set facing south. Buster lands upon Joe beside the right corner of the “Y.” The “439 Money to Loan” set stood on the main branch of the “Y,” and the teeter-totter fence stood along the left branch of the “Y.” The same right corner set appears behind street-sweeper Buster during Day Dreams. Above, Buster runs solo through the Goldwyn backlot arch, the lone police chief fails to stop him, and the army of police chase him back and forth through the arch. Culver City
